SKY tv chat show

Sky TV’s Challenge channel needed a companion program to retain the audience of its most-watched show, Impact Wrestling, on Sunday nights. With limited budget and high expectations, they turned to the YouTube series WrestleTalk TV. We were tasked with overhauling the format for television while retaining its fan-centric style.

Launching in August 2012, the show ran for seven seasons and over four and a half years, becoming a staple of Challenge’s Sunday lineup. The success of WrestleTalk TV led to two additional formats for the channel: British Wrestling Weekly and Beat The Beast, a 25-episode game show featuring Mark “The Beast” Labbett from The Chase.

The results:

Created a weekly TV show on a minimal budget, retaining a large and loyal audience.

Attracted interviews with icons like Hulk Hogan, Sting, and Bret Hart.

Delivered over 125 episodes, including writing, producing, filming, editing, and readying them for broadcast.

A television studio set showing a group of four people sitting on couches having a discussion, with two men and two women, for WrestleTalk TV on Sky TV.
